Pets Plus Us is a pet insurance company based out of Oakville, Ontario. With their 10th anniversary just a few months away, Pets Plus Us was looking to create a variation of their existing logo design to celebrate their milestone. The ask was a logo that their team could use across channels including web ads, printed designs, and promotional items. This new logo also had to be recognizable to their current audience and partners, so it would not take away from their existing identity. Over the course of about four weeks, I worked with the PPU team to create a few variations of their current logo, subtly adding in the number 10, and tweaking their well-known tagline “a pet owner’s best friend”. After a few rounds of options, we settled on strategically placing the “10” inside their current logo, while keeping their plus sign in the middle of the zero. Keeping the celebratory logo design close in shape to their original logo allows them to use the two interchangeably across all mediums without the need for additional adjustments to layouts. To align with their existing identity, I created multiple versions of the new design to fit any and all spaces they may need over the course of their 10th year.
